As in past years, Maui Hui Malama youth and staff participated in the annual Zip for the Trees event, helping plant 200 native Hawaiian trees on Haleakala.
Event organizer Joe Imhoff thanked us, saying, “Your group did an amazing job! Thanks for sticking around for extra time to help spread the rest of the mulch. Your youth showed a very impressive work ethic. We are proud to work with your group year after year.”
