We feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit with Alex Bode (Wai Ki Kena) last Friday. Hui Malama staff planted kalo on a piece of land he set aside for us.. Our students will be maintaining the kalo throughout the year, and will also assist in maintaining other crops at the farm. Alex will be a big part of contributing lessons of sustainability to our students. Mahalo nui, Alex!
