Maui Hui Malama is extremely grateful to benefit from the 30 Acts of Aloha fundraising campaign. We are deeply appreciative of being included in your unique demonstration what it means to believe in, contribute to and provide encouragement to those on our islands who despite difficult situations persevere to create a better life for themselves, their families and community.
We truly enjoyed the opportunity for fellowship with the 30 Acts of Aloha volunteers, Nā Hoaloha ‘Ekolu ‘ohana, and the other nonprofit beneficiaries at the Olowalu Celebration dinner on February 2nd. Thank you for inviting us to appreciate the beauty of our island from this unique site and to experience the cultural protocols of your staff, guests from the mainland and Makana. It was inspiring and encouraging to learn more about the many activities, experiences and contributions you have made in Hawaii and around the world. In this line of work, these kinds of events provide a break from the day-to-day stressors, and opportunity to reflect on the importance and accomplishments that we share as a community.
Our intention is to demonstrate to you that we share your values of a holistic view of community, Hawaii and our unique contributions to the world around us. To demonstrate our valuing of your generous $10,000 investment, Maui Hui Malama continues to develop its capacity to be a learning organization so that we may connect and unify all available resources and efforts to achieve meaningful sustained social impact for Maui. We look forward to the possibility of partnering with you in the future through our work readiness and jobs programs.
Mahalo for this generous donation, and previous years of support through Uncle Bobby and annual donations. Maui is truly blessed to have businesses on Maui who reflect and practice our value of aloha and malama within and outside of business.
