Penny Levin hosted our excursion to `E Kupaku Ka `Aina. Students learned about kalo (taro), the lo`i, prepping the lo`i for planting, planting the kalo and the whole ecosystem of the kalo.

The students are becoming more knowledgeable about cultural sustainable practices of agriculture. They will be empowered to practice agriculture on their own, and to share practices with members of the local community.
