Students are often exposed to situations that keep them engaged in thinking the why’s and how’s of each task that we ask them to perform. Our visit to Honokohau valley is an excellent example of how science, nutrition, culture, math, and other skills are learned. An outdoor classroom gives our students a more relaxed setting in which learning can be achieved.
