We continue to provide opportunities for our students to discover new and exciting things. Hui Malama students and staff were able to be a part of, or at least a small part of the Hotel Lodging and Tourism Association’s general meeting which was held this past weekend at the Wailea Marriott. Students spent time with recently appointed CEO Mufi Hannemann and other managers and leaders from hotels across Maui. Executive Director, Pualani Enos gave a presentation about the possibility of some of Maui’s at-risk youth, with the proper mentors and training, how they could be the next generation of strong and very capable leaders in the hospitality industry.
