Message from Kumu Noble:
“You will learn to explore creating a self portrait through different layers, with each layer describing parts of yourself. Through a collage made of consumer magazines, you will expose a story of who you are in Hawai’i that gives a deeper meaning of who we are as people of Hawaii as opposed to what is often presented to the outside world. Creating this self portrait will open you to thinking about and understanding your importance in this world as children of Hawaii, and how that is something special and to be proud of.  At the end of this course, you will have a great portrait and an understanding of time management and pride.”
